This week marks my seven year anniversary with FHL. From arriving as a fresh faced graduate intern, with very little knowledge of business or ‘cloud computing’, I now consider myself to be an experienced NetSuite Solution Consultant.
Over the past seven years, I’ve worked on some incredibly exciting projects and helped over 25 businesses to successfully adopt NetSuite. I’ve witnessed phenomenal change, not only within FHL, but within NetSuite and the wider industry. From an FHL perspective, the team has grown from 30 to over 100, moved to fantastic new premises and were acquired by the RSM UK Group of Companies in 2017.
In that time, NetSuite also became part of a much larger family, following their acquisition by Oracle in 2016. Since then, we’ve seen extraordinary investment into the NetSuite product, people and infrastructure and the returns speak for themselves.
NetSuite is now used by over 25,000 business in over 200 countries and was recently named a leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Core Financial Management Suites for midsize, large and global enterprises, for the fourth year running. A fantastic achievement indeed!
The speed of digital transformation has increased, in particular over the last year, with many business leaders reprioritising strategic IT roadmaps. The use of video collaboration tools has skyrocketed and AI and Machine Learning are topics on almost all Board agendas.
Last but not least, I’ve been involved in planning some epic events, charity initiatives and staff parties and can’t wait until I can roll up my sleeves and resume my role as ‘FHL’s Party Planner’ once more!
Thanks to all of my clients and colleagues for making my experience such a great one. I’ve enjoyed working with you all and can’t wait to see what the next few years have in store!
